Save Our Seas Tour - Dare to Dream
SOS Ocean Racing is about raising awareness of the damage plastic bags do to our environment.
Dare to Dream is the title to the book Ian is currently finishing off and will be launched in the early part of September.
Having smashed the record for the fastest solo circumnavigation of Australia, Ian Thomson will be touring from September - December 2010. Ian will be available for Public Speaking engagements either at your local yacht club or for company conferences.
To say Ian is passionate about the plastic bag issue is an understatement but he is also just as passionate about living out his dreams. His talks are twofold with the first part being on Saving our Seas and the second part on Living your Dreams. He will inspire people to not just be all talk, but to actually go and do it, something that is lacking in today's day and age.
If you have a youth sailing program, organise a sausage sizzle and Ian will come and talk to the youth, organise an evening with a three course meal where Ian can talk between meals or organise a conference where Ian can motivate your staff. Any other opportunities, let us know, Ian is very flexible and can deliver in many formats.

Conferences
Costs are negotiable pending travel etc. Conferences will incur a set fee per hour. All fees go to the Save Our Seas Foundation Australia
Evenings with Ian
If you want to host an evening at a venue of your choice, then add $15 minimum to the cost per head for food and Ian will come and talk, minimum 20 people. All fees go to the Save Our Seas Foundation Australia
Youth Programs
Ian is all about promoting sailing to the youth and hence will be happy to come and talk to the youth. As the tour is about raising funds for the Save Our Seas Foundation Australia, organise a sausage sizzle or have your club make a donation to the Foundation. Donations don't need to be large as long as it covers the cost of Ian's travel. To keep the costs down, ensure it is during times when Ian is in your region.
Schools Programs
Ian would love the opportunity to talk to schools to push sailing and his message. If you have a contact in a school, let them know when I'll be in town and I would be happy to discuss arrangments.
